Conservation status of indigenous vascular plants in the Wellington region
Search in document libraryThe conservation status of the indigenous vascular plants in the Wellington region has been re-assessed by an expert panel. There were 1,007 indigenous vascular plants identified as being resident in the region. Two hundred and six of these taxa were listed as being Regionally Threatened; 119 Regionally Critical, 53 Regionally Endangered and 34 as Regionally Vulnerable. There were 120 taxa listed as being Data Deficient. Recommendations for regional survey efforts have been made.
