Ratepayers continue to be let down by Greater Wellington Regional Council with higher rates, more bureaucracy and red tape, and poorer transport outcomes. It’s time to give Council a wake up call and focus on the issues that matter to Wellingtonians. Having lived in greater Wellington for over 40 years, I understand the practical and environmental issues facing our region. With 20 years experience as a nurse, associate manager skills, and having travelled to 30 countries, I’ve seen firsthand what does and doesn’t work, and have the practical skills needed to turn our region around. As an ACT Local candidate, you know what to expect: I will bring cost-effective transport upgrades to Wellington, remove needless red tape on families, farmers, and businesses, and focus Council back on its key deliverables.
