Wairarapa General Constituency
My principal place of residence is in the Wairarapa General Constituency area.
For too long, our Wairarapa voice has been silenced or sidelined in regional decision-making. After six years as an experienced South Wairarapa District Councillor, I am now standing for the Greater Wellington Regional Council to change that. Leadership means listening, and acting with integrity, transparency and courage.
My priorities include restoring public transport reliability, managing our rivers sustainably with community involvement, and ensuring major infrastructure investments reflect local needs.
I bring a proven record of strategic advocacy and financial scrutiny, a strong voice, always asking the tough questions and backing practical solutions. Regional governance should empower our community, farmers and businesses alike, not burden us with bureaucratic roadblocks. That is why I am committed to ensuring the Wairarapa voice is not just heard, but respected, challenging inequity and bureaucracy and rebuilding trust across our communities.
Let’s bring Wairarapa back to the decision table, and make sure we’re never sidelined again.
