My principal place of residence is in the Pōneke/Wellington General Constituency area.
I grew up sailing on Wellington harbour and tramping the Tararua Ranges. I want our region to be healthy, thriving and able to adapt to the future.
My career bridges environmental policymaking, science, and law, with a PhD on water governance from the Netherlands. I have the skills to manage the complexity of environmental decision-making, inspire fresh thinking to develop practical solutions, and work in partnership to support the Council in delivering for our communities and meeting our Treaty obligations.
With your vote, I will focus on building climate resilience for our communities and nature by delivering cost-effective, nature-based solutions; improving the health of our waterways and harbours; ensuring our water supply and brilliant public transport system is resilient; and building constructive relationships with partners and communities by sitting down and listening to people.
