My principal place of residence is in the Pōneke/Wellington General Constituency area.
More electric buses, lifting driver wages, keeping a lid on bus fares, new bus services, new regional trains; extending and replanting our regional parks, restoring our wetlands and cleaning up our waterways have been areas of focus during my current term as Chair of Greater Wellington Regional Council.
My priorities are improving the reliability of Metlink services; full integrated ticketing, introducing fare capping for cheaper fares for regular users; bringing asset ownership back under public control; more buses to more places; and removing pollution in our urban streams.
I am committed to active community engagement, a vibrant Wellington, and supporting a thriving economy. Climate change, water quality and infrastructure resilience are high priorities.
I am an experienced Councillor with a strong background in problem solving. I have a track record of bringing people together and delivering for Wellington. I have a background in resource management and public policy.
