Tēnā koutou. I have served as your Regional Councillor for the past triennium, and I am standing to continue representing the community that raised and shaped me.
I am a steady hand with considerable governance experience, a strong community heart and established relationships across our Porirua/Tawa community including business, education, health, social and environmental groups. In the current term I have brought a Tiriti o Waitangi voice to the table, ensured equity is at the heart of decision making and expanded the role of the Audit and Risk Committee to explore a broader range of risk across financial, environmental and reputational spheres.
I want to build on Greater Wellington’s achievements including our transport networks and environmental protection, whilst recognising the challenges families face around the cost of living. I will serve our community and deliver results for our neighbourhoods, environment and future mokopuna.
