My principal place of residence is in the Porirua-Tawa General Constituency area.
You might not know exactly what the regional council does, but we‘ve had a 55% increase in rates over the last three years, the second highest in the country. I’ll ask the tough questions about where that money’s going and to demand a fair deal for Porirua and Tawa, not just central Wellington.
As a Land Surveyor, I’ve worked in both local government and the private sector. I know how poor regional planning rules and red tape drive up the cost of housing. I’ll push for affordable solutions so more people can access more affordable homes.
We must prioritise restoration of our fantastic harbour and streams, and for improved public transport services. The transition to new water services cannot fail and must improve services for our communities.
We need positive voices who understand the issues and who don’t back down. I’m ready to get to work. Please vote me #1.
