My principal place of residence is in the Pōneke/Wellington General Constituency area.
I’m standing for the regional council because I want to give people better transport choices to reduce congestion, lower costs for families, and protect our environment.
Better public transport is my top priority – our services should be faster, cheaper, and more reliable. I will work across Wellington councils to deliver improvements to speed up our buses and hold central government to account to fulfil their promise to co-fund faster trains and more reliable infrastructure.
The cost of living continues to bite in Wellington. I will work to keep rate increases as low as possible and deliver cheaper public transport through a weekly fare cap so regular users get free trips.
Our region has incredible parks, rivers, and coastlines. I will support efforts to clean up our waterways and keep our parks clean. For me, tackling climate change needs to be at the heart of our council’s work.
